Our Mission and History
The Mt. Bethel Children’s Consignment Sale (MBCCS) was established in 1979 by a team of volunteers. The goal was to share the love and helping hands of Christ to those in and around the community through shopping. While the sale has grown exponentially, the mission of the sale remains unchanged.
Members and non-members of Mt. Bethel are encouraged to sell items their children have outgrown and to purchase new gently-used items. Proceeds from the sale go to support domestic and international philanthropies. Additionally, unsold items are given to families in need locally and through our charity partners across the world.
This community sale is conducted twice a year: once in the fall and again in the spring.
The sale is held at Mt. Bethel UMC. You’ll find ample parking, plenty of great deals, a bake sale to satisfy your sweet tooth, and a delicious boxed lunch available for purchase (while supplies last).
